Ft. Worth TX (7/16/2014) by DarinShort.com. Texas Motor Speedway (TMS) officials are pleased to announce the registration website is now open for the Port-A-Cool® U.S. National Dirt Track Championship (USNDTC) at The Dirt Track at TMS.
The USNDTC will be held September 12-13, 2014 featuring the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series and Limited Modifieds – competing for over $75,000 in cash, plus prizes (details below).

Limited Modified teams can save $40/each on their entry by getting registered between now and August 29th. After that date, ‘race week’ pricing will be in effect. Car numbers are assigned on a first-come basis, so if there is a number you want, it is a good idea to register as soon as possible for the best chance of getting it.
TMS will add two provisional starters to the Limited Modified championship feature – but those names will be drawn from pre-entered drivers only, so don't miss out on this second chance! To be considered an “Early Entered Driver” your entry must be received (online or postmarked) by August 29th, 2014. The Limited Modified event pays $2,000 to win and $400 to start.
There are 120 paved, reserved parking spaces available for this event. Once those spaces have been reserved, all other teams will be parked by TMS officials upon their arrival at the speedway. Purchase pit parking while supplies last at the event website.
Teams can pay using any major credit or debit card and all transactions are secured through PayPal, an eBay company that has soared to over 148 million active accounts. You do not have to be a PayPal member to use this free service.

They are located on the west side of the street bordering TMS. Marriott also has USNDTC event rates – which are linked and programmed on the event registration site. Note that this hotel will sell out quickly, so act now if you are wanting to stay there!
This event is now a 2-day Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series event. A complete program of heat races, B-features and championship A-features will be contested on each night. There is no TMS entry fee for Sprint Cars to this event.
On Friday September 12th, the Limited Modifieds will compete in qualifying heat races and feature races, which will line up their last chance events and championship A-feature on Saturday September 13th.
The Limited Modified championship event will feature a 3-wide start, which will be sure to make for an exciting climax to their weekend of racing.
Race fans can purchase grandstand tickets to this great weekend of racing for $25 on Friday and $25 on Saturday. Kids ages 12 and under will be admitted for $10 on Friday and $10 on Saturday. Purchase tickets by clicking http://www.TexasMotorSpeedway.com or calling 817-215-8500.
There is no charge for grandstand parking. Outside food/drinks are not allowed through the ticket gates, a full range of food and drinks are available for purchase under the main grandstand area.
Hot laps are at 6pm Friday, with races at 7pm. Saturday night’s hot laps are at 7pm with racing at 8pm. Grandstands open at 5pm Friday and 6pm Saturday.
There is a practice night scheduled for Limited Modifieds and Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series teams Thursday September 11th at 6pm, however the main grandstand area is closed.
