Simpson's, lightest and most aerodynamic helmet, the SD1 is a premium helmet at a reasonable price. The helmet is tailored towards open wheel dirt track racing with no front vents and a front chin spoiler.

• Composite and autoclave cured carbon fiber
• New, aerodynamic design - Simpson's lightest helmet

• Composite models are available in 9 colors, including new Gray, Yellow, and Copper
• Removable cheekpads - sizes range from .75" to 1.375" for a custom fit
• Removable Top pads - sizes range from .25" to .625" to lift and lower the helmet
• Includes removable gel earcups
• Compatible with all Simpson communication kits
• Front chin spoiler for stabillty in open cockpit cars
• No front ventilation to keep dirt and debris out
• Top and rear vents for ventilation
• Optional top and top left offset forced air for cooling and fog mitigation
